Shipping Policy

Amotea ships orders in Italy, within the European Union, to the United Kingdom, the United States and selected non-EU countries.

Orders are processed from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays. Orders received by 11:00 AM CET are generally prepared and handed over to the courier by the end of the same working day. Orders received after 11:00 AM CET will be processed on the following working day.

The processing time refers only to the preparation and handover of the order to the courier. Delivery times depend on the destination, courier service, customs procedures and other external factors beyond Amotea’s direct control.

Estimated Delivery Times

The following delivery times are provided for information purposes only and are not guaranteed:

Delivery times may be extended during holidays, sales periods, promotional campaigns, customs checks, force majeure events, courier disruptions or other circumstances outside Amotea’s control.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before the order is confirmed. The customer is responsible for reviewing and accepting the applicable shipping costs before completing the purchase.

Amotea reserves the right to update shipping fees, destinations and delivery options at any time.

Customs Duties, Taxes and Import Charges

For shipments outside the European Union, including the United Kingdom, the United States and other non-EU destinations, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other local charges may apply.

These costs are not included in the product price or shipping fee, unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout. Any customs duties, import taxes or local charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Amotea is not responsible for delays, additional costs or failed deliveries caused by customs clearance procedures, import restrictions, local authorities or the customer’s failure to pay applicable duties or taxes.

Order Tracking

Once the order has been shipped, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information, where available.

Tracking information may take some time to become active after the parcel has been handed over to the courier.

Delivery Address

The customer is responsible for providing a complete, accurate and valid shipping address at checkout.

Amotea is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, returns or additional costs resulting from incorrect, incomplete or unavailable shipping information provided by the customer.

If a parcel is returned to Amotea due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal of delivery or non-collection by the customer, Amotea may charge the customer for any additional shipping, storage, return or re-delivery costs.

Failed Delivery or Refused Packages

If a delivery cannot be completed for reasons attributable to the customer, including but not limited to refusal of the package, absence at the delivery address, incorrect address or failure to collect the parcel, any costs incurred for return shipping, storage or re-delivery may be deducted from any refund or charged separately to the customer.

Delays and Liability

Amotea undertakes to process and hand over orders to the courier according to the processing times stated above. However, Amotea cannot guarantee final delivery dates and shall not be liable for delays caused by couriers, customs authorities, local postal services, force majeure events or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Any delivery dates or timeframes communicated on the website, by email or by customer service are estimates only and do not constitute a binding delivery commitment.

Damaged or Missing Parcels

If the parcel appears damaged upon delivery, the customer should refuse the delivery or accept it with reservation, where allowed by the courier, and contact Amotea as soon as possible with photos of the packaging and the product.

In case of missing parcels or delivery issues, Amotea will assist the customer in opening an investigation with the courier. The outcome and timing of such investigations may depend on the courier’s procedures.
